Good Reads: The Best Links This Week

The gods have smiled upon me this holiday season and granted me with a quick trip to Monte Carlo. Yep, you read that right.

I'll be in Monte Carlo for the start of the week, acting like the fanciest person ever. Don't worry - full recap to come.

In the meantime, enjoy these links while you eat 99 candy canes.

Sally Singer's new concept for Vogue.com is a good one. Entitled Scripted Content, each month Vogue's cover girl (or boy) will star in a scripted, close-to-life short film. So far Jessica Chastain and Kate Winslet (double swoon) have participated.

Good Reads

A highlight of some of the best reading and watching I've done on the web this week.

Animals wearing clothes

Animals wearing clothes

An article from the New York Times on what it is to be middle class in Manhattan.

Some amazing fiction by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie courtesy of Guernica and found by Paragraph, a new literary magazine with a focus on short stories.

Beyonce's blog.

Alec Baldwin interviews Lena Dunham on WNYC. 'Nuff said.

I've been obsessed with André Leon Talley since forever. The fact that he's originally from Durham, North Carolina and gave the keynote speech at my college graudation only intensified my obsession. So, seeing ALT's interview with Quvenzhané Wallis only brings him even higher in my books (if that's even possible).

And, check out Allison Watkins' incredible embroidery.

Have a great weekend!
