I consider myself to be a pretty straight-talking gal, or at least I aim to be.
Why not just say what you mean, so long as it's appropriate, amIright?
And that's the segway for a new site I've just discovered called Young British Designers that happens to feature exactly that.
According to their site, Young British Designers is the first dedicated retail environment which focuses solely on new talent in Great Britain.
Their aim is to represent British style and sensibility, with a particular fondness for designers who "chuck away the rule book".
I'm particularly fond of their accessories, whether it's footwear by Joanne Stoker, the Thela Bag by Meli Melo, or the Purple Haze Studs by Cabinet (which are now on sale for £25, mind you).
Gorgeous, aren't they?
