I spend a lot of time in war museums.
Not because I'm a history nut, but because my husband is. Spending so much time in these places is cool with me because he spends far more time listening to me rattle on about Instagram compositions and god knows what else. It's all about compromise, you know.
So a few weeks ago, we spent a rainy, unseasonably chilly day in Duxford exploring their abundant collection of military aircraft carries.
Between shoving my pie hole with clotted cream, complaining about being cold, going to the bathroom so that I could sit down, and contemplating buying a little boy camo jacket in the gift shop, I actually took some time to look around and found some pretty beautiful things.
Pretty incredible, right? I'm lucky to have someone introduce me to gorgeous bits of history like this that I'd miss out on otherwise. Gag.
Happy Tuesday, team!
